FORUM, CONGRESS, SYMPOSIUM : 2013/2014, 2 YEARS OF SHARING AND EXCHANGING IN ORDER TO ELIMINATE THE AVOIDABLE VISUAL DEFICIENCIES

Tomorrow’s ophthalmology, its great therapeutic breakthroughs as well as the programmes of public health are registered in the international congresses. During 2013 and 2014, Nadi al Bassar took part in some thirty meetings of various importances, in various countries. An opening up to the world, on accomplished progress, on the targeted objectives; A bridge between the different states to answer the health need of populations with an eye on of .the objective "VISION 2020".

NAJDA TUNISIA: SURGERY CAMPAIGNS ON THE NATIONAL TERRITORY

The major part of Nadi al Bassar’s activities was carried out during 2013 and 2014 on the national territory. Consultations or surgery campaigns were organized North and South of the country, sometimes in collaboration with other associations, with honorable results for nearly 3000 consultations and 800 surgeries , often to remove cataract. Consultations sometimes end by giving away eye glasses. Nadi Al Bassar was also active in schools so as to detect eye troubles, early.

INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ACTION

For the past two years, Nadi Al Bassar has been very active on the international scene, mainly in Libya, Cameroon and Burkina Faso with over 3100 surgeries and almost as many eye consultations. At the same time, those campaigns were an opportunity to train a number of doctors and ophthalmology technicians.
